Luxury Mountain Home Plans That Last Generations
Premium Living Just Your Style
The decision to build a custom mountain home as a second, third, or primary residence is a big decision based on a lot of questions like: Where will we build? How much will it cost? How long will it take? Who can execute on our vision? Who will think of things we haven’t thought of? And so much more!
One thing is for sure: Your build needs to start with the right set of luxury mountain home plans that are tailored to the way you live and your tastes in design.
You can’t use a template off the shelf because that’s what everyone will have. Not only that, your site and existing structure have unique conditions that a template typically won’t accunt for – costing you delay’s in time, capital, and patience!
Let’s explore how luxury mountain home plans should come to be and how you can get yours.
The Best Investment You’ll Ever Make
Nope. We’re not talking about the home! We’re talking about the unsung hero of every architectural process: the feasibility study.
If you’re unfamiliar with a feasibility study or it’s importance, we’ll cover that in this section.
We call ours The Project Kickstarter, and it tells you everything you need to know about your site and what’s possible to build there. The biggest mistake we’re often called in to fix afterward is correcting an off-the-shelf set of plans that have nothing to do with the location.
For a nominal cost (our range is from $999-$1499) based on square footage, we will present programs, timelines, and cost estimates so that way you can see the road ahead and stay in control of your build.
There’s a few things to keep in mind when you’re looking for the perfect set of luxury mountain home plans:
- Understanding your site (this governs every downstream decision)
- Knowing your lifestyle preferences (gathering, entertaining, seclusion, creativity, outdoor experiences, etc)
- Materials (timber frame, cedar shingles, stonework, hardware, lighting)
- Features (multi-car garage, barn & stable, security, smart design, bedrooms, utility, staffing & guest accommodations, fitness, media, kitchen, storage, cigar & wine)
- Multi-generational living & accessibility
Another aspect in planning your one-of-a-kind residence is the collaborative experience. And that’s something we’re really proud of. Our clients rely on our expertise, our ability to hold virtual meetings and walk-throughs from afar, and our ability to take your greatest expectations and deliver them on time, on budget, to exact specifications (and often better)!
